A report from the Nigerian Police says the claims by residents are false. They even went further to grant interviews to Aljazeera and BBC on this. They claimed that the cases were false alarms.

However, knowing Lagos, I can tell you that there must have been cases of robberies all around. Perhaps not in the scale and manner a lot of the residents have painted it.

We also got information that the 1 Million Boys gang after attempting to invade Gbagada and Oworonshoki communities, moved their focus to Ogudu-Ojota Axis.

Well we are waiting for them and hoping that they do try it. As I have informed all my neighbors- that we drive cars and live in apartments does not imply that we are timid or do not know how to unleash hate and violence on anyone who tries to harm our loved ones at home.
